Hi, I’m Timisha wilsoN
(Tim-eesha)
Timisha was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She is the founder of Wilson Family Services, a local mental health practice prioritizing the Black and Brown communities, as well as she is the newly penned author of “A Kids Book About Social Workers.” She is a proud alum of Benson Polytechnic High School, the University of Oregon (B.S. 2003), and Portland State University (M.S.W. 2012).
Jonicia was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Woodlawn Elementary, Whitaker Middle School, and Jefferson High School. She later received her B.A. from Dillard University, Portland State University (M.S.W and most recently an Administrative license). Jonicia is a social justice advocate, and a dedicated community member who also works as a Child and Family Therapist.

our Story, your support
Gun violence has hit our community hard, and we get that it affects you in ways others might not understand. We've been there, working with kids and adults, we realized something big was missing: grief support that truly speaks to us, our experiences, and our culture.
When gun violence shook our city in 2022, we knew we had to step up for our community. That's why we created We Grieve Our Way. We see you, we hear you, and we're here to walk this path with you.

Empowering youth facing grief to understand and navigate their unique emotional and physical responses, guiding them towards finding inner balance and peace following the loss of a meaningful connection.
BUILD IT - OUR MISSION
To provide a therapeutic environment and safe space for healing, where we can empower hearts and minds by offering culturally responsive and compassionate support, fostering resilience and nurturing emotional wellness, as they navigate their journey of grief.
